"Temporary" was recorded right after wrapping up the "Vanity Tape". My foundation is rooted in Rap/Hip-hop, but after years of traveling and meeting interesting people of different disciplines my music palette has just expanded in so many ways. I never want to feel trapped in one space and creatively "Temporary" is an expression of that sentiment and a culmination of my experiences thus far.
Story wise, I've always put my career first over romantic relationships. So when I do decide to court a love interest I'm not interested in anything that's fleeting or temporary. This is really me reassuring that special person that I'm ready to go the distance if/when they are!
