Cara and I have been talking and we primarily believe that the Ancient 100 is a qualitative number firstly and a quantitative number second. In my home we say person before position, presence before perfection priest before king. We believe this best models the nature and ministry of Jesus and are constantly challenged by it. One preacher I heard said, the Lord is not looking for a king with a devotional life but priests that rule. Again Jesus consistently models this for us and will set quality over quantity, we want to be faithful to do the same.
Over lunch today Steven Jr and I concluded that the Lord is looking for full participation from us in praise and worship. We decided that coming off the sheet projected music has been a benefit in that we are learning corporately to look only at Him in worship. With that being said we are not against words for a congregational but see how the Lord is directing us to look only at Him. We are having the most wonderful time together and many testimonies are pouring in of what the Lord is doing for those in our midst. We have shifted into a new season...
Sunday we shifted into the vav, the sixth Hebrew letter. There is so much to say about this. You can read Genesis 2:4, Isaiah 22:23 and Ezra 9:8 to grow in your understanding. The vav is very important in the pinning or hooking together of Heaven and Earth. It is foundational in the sense of why we are called The Collider, Where Heaven Meets Earth. What I'm saying is we are entering into a season of living up to our corporate name. Even more so it is important spatially for us in how we live, move and have our being in Him as well as for our households. The vav can be interpreted as a PIN which is an acronym for Parcel Identification Number that is issued with land and homes. See how important the vav is in that it connects us from heavens perspective in the hei (light in the fifth dimension) as individuals, families, our homes, the future safehouses, corporately in our case with the collider, nationally and internationally!
