X2M.210 Holotype: The Celestial Artifact
In taxonomy, a holotype is the single, name-bearing specimen that defines a new species, fixed as the reference against which all others are measured.¹ In consecration, Holotype carries this genomic logic into the drama of worship and incarnation. The scattered syntypes have been narrowed, the lectotype has fixed the reference face, but the holotype is the celestial artifact itself — the singular, indestructible specimen cut “not by human hands” (Dan. 2:34–35).²
Psalm 28 prays for deliverance: “Hear my plea for mercy… carry them in your arms at all times.”³ This cry is answered in Isaiah 28’s cornerstone — a stone laid in Zion, plumbed by justice and righteousness.⁴ Daniel interprets it as the little stone that smashes all kingdoms, the holotype of God’s eschatological species.² Micah promises the ruler from Bethlehem, not born of human hands but by divine act, who embodies the artifact of God’s reign.⁵
Paul describes his own credentials — circumcision, blamelessness, Hebrew of Hebrews — but then calls them liabilities compared to gaining Christ.⁶ His blamelessness is reclassified: not an asset, but dung, discarded so that the holotype of resurrection might be implanted.⁷ His longing was for exanastasis, the “out-resurrection,” union with the risen Christ, though restrained until the fullness of the nations might be gathered.⁸ This delay, as Meredith Kline argued, is a gestation: common grace prolongs history until the eschatological kingdom can be revealed in consummation.⁹
Holotype, then, is the moment when the artifact transfer program begins. The artificer cuts and crafts a genetic form delayed until now, a specimen not made with human hands, born of heaven and given to man.¹⁰ This is not human artifice but divine intrusion: a new teva, a structure of rest, an ark door opening to release a new creation. In genomic terms, Holotype is the definitive locus — the one allele that cannot be replaced, the reference point for the entire species of glorified humanity.
The holotype is Christ, and in Him, the Church as His body. The single specimen multiplies without ceasing, an indestructible stone that grows into a mountain filling the whole earth.² In Holotype, PH10 ceases to be rehearsal and becomes execution: the runtime sealed, the artifact delivered, the celestial specimen unveiled.
