How long have you been DJing? 2 days! I just learned. But I’ve been making music for 17 years.
Why did you get into it? I started writing songs at age 13 because I wanted to be a rockstar, but I found it was a great way to process my emotions as a teen.
What events have you played? Forest Creatures / Crystal Mountain / Shine / Various small venues
Where are you from? Great Falls, MT - Nomad during winter
What inspires you? Sometimes I go through emotional periods but lately I’m just into cool sound design. I’m inspired by people who are true to themselves.
What genres are in your mix? IDM, techno, plunderphonics, hmmm
A few words about your mix? Image 11:56 is never-heard-before music created on the spot with my custom software (BeatDJ.ai aka Baby Alien). It is a sample based program but there are no premade loops. It is all sequenced in the moment. I started this recording by accident while testing and couldn’t stop because I got sucked into the groove. I’m amazed it all came together smoothly because in testing mode I am unable to preview the sounds before they come into the recording - the random numbers were on my side.
