Starlight Thursdays Episode 218 Welcome CYNDR to the series!!!
Pronounced “Cinder” has been DJing Since 1998. That’s like 25 years!!!
He’s performed at Metro Club in Riverside CA from 1998-1999, and various underground events in Pasadena/LA, Coachella pre/after-parties from 2000-03, as well as various raves in Dallas, Houston and Asheville . He had a residency at Lizzard Lounge for 3 years before moving to Montana and playing our local festival circuit.
You may have known him as Newton’s 7Fold before he changed his name to CYNDR.

Why do you DJ?
It’s in my soul. I can’t not.
What inspires you about electronic music culture?
Always been a nerd, outcast and lived by my rules. The EDM scene, so far, has had the kind of similar minded people with personalities that cater to nurturing relationships that mean more than a simple acquaintanceship.

I recently fell back in love with some older tracks by Oliver Huntemann & Dubfire, so I decided I’d start there.
