R808 (Radiate) Has been mixing for over year and a half. Originally from Portland Oregon, and living in Missoula for the past 7 years. We got to host her at Tickle My Fancy. I was drawn to DJing because I have been deeply immersed in the dance music scene for my entire adult life. From getting directions to the warehouse the morning of the rave, to twisting up Kandi to share with total strangers. I have always been in full adoration of the scene that has shaped me.
I wanted to be able to cultivate beautiful experiences for people entering the scene,
and remind people who have been a part of the scene why they love it. I wanted to be able to create a space where music held movement and the rhythm of my sets had a heartbeat.
I wanted everyone to feel welcome and admired for exactly who they choose to be.
