I'm super excited to share with you my interview with Andrea Catalla owner of True Shape Training.
Andrew is a full-time entrepreneur based in Detroit, Michigan and has been doing personal training for 12 years now!
He is also a husband, and a father to two beautiful kids. After 10 years of working for multiple companies, Andrew left his “safe” job to work full-time for himself and make a bigger impact! His fitness facility, True Shape Training, specializes in fat loss and body transformations. True Shape Training takes the guesswork out providing exercise and nutrition plan that is fun, realistic, and effective.
Andrew believes that culture in his fitness studio makes a huge difference. All of his clients are serious and hard-working people who not only want to better themselves but support and lift others up as well. One of the biggest ways Andrew builds culture is by giving back to charity. He knows that his purpose in this world is to make a positive impact on as many people as possible. Every time his clients train at the gym, that is a donation to charity. The more people that workout, the bigger the impact. The charity that True Shape Training supports is Covenant House Michigan. They support homeless and at-risk youth, ages 18-24. His goal is to give $5,000 to them annually.
When he's not coaching clients, working on the business, or working out, he is usually spending time with his wife and kids, hanging out with friends, traveling, working on self-development, or reading. Andrew is dedicated to helping serious and motivated individuals achieve their best body and life one workout at a time.
