Afterwards, he reflects on being one of the few Black cast members (approximately 17 in total) in SNL’s entire 40 year history and explains with some disappointment how he was recently invited to the SNL 40th Anniversary Special but had to make the tough decision to pass because he was already contracted and couldn’t cancel a previously booked engagement.
