That good friday—what Jesus did —He laid down His life. In doing so the enemy couldn't take His life from Him, because Jesus gave it. If we give our lives, then the same thing holds true, the enemy can't take our life from us, but our commitment to lay down our life, stops his power of temptation. We won't be tempted because we decided to do the Fathers will. Just as Jesus did!
