The 5 Rules of Organization:
1. Be Lazy so that tasks don't boomerang back onto your plate. Also, put things away in a logical spot for easy access later.
2. Have a realistic plan. How much time do you truly have to accomplish your goals today or this week? It's less than you think. Give yourself double the time you think you need for tasks.
3. Communicate your goals. No one is a mind reader. Clearly communicate your goals to your team and your family. If you need help with this go to https://www.emilyhawkins4u.com/leadershift-playbook to join my online course where I teach you exactly how to do this.
4. Write it down. Written plans have a higher chance of happening. Rewrite your to-do list daily to start fresh and reevaluate priorities.
5. Show the way. You can't change anyone around you by nagging. You must first show them the way.
