Welcome back to another episode of The Journey mixed by yours truly. A little later than usual (but if you know me, it is to be expected) :p
As always, as the title describes... It's a JOURNEY! Another 2 hours of my finest selection of Emotional Dance Music.
I start the mix off with a little improvised 3 minute session on my Kontrol F1 which I had hooked up to 2 Remix Decks in Traktor. The Kontrol F1 is used to trigger off loops and samples and build your own track live. Those with a good ear will pick up me using the stems from Ikalimba by Ryan Murgatroyd in the second part of the intro.
The artwork this month was completely done by yours truly. I took the image at the summit of the Helderberg Mountain Range in Somerset West, Cape Town.
