Wigan Athletic fan Adam is part of the team at Progress With Unity, a fan podcast which goes into its testimonial year in 2021/22. In his lifetime the team have risen from the fourth tier to the Europa League, beating Maribor after losing 1-0 at Vicarage Road as they tried to bounce back to the Premier League.
Since the joy of October 2013, Wigan were sold on by the great Dave Whelan and his family, but problems with the new ownership led to a points deduction and unpaid wages that took the team down to League One. Now under another regime, Adam talks about the current state of the club as they seek to progress with unity.
