Anthony worked on the beat as a reporter for many years covering football. In the 2010s he released three wonderful books: Promised Land was about his love of Leeds and particularly its football team; Does Your Rabbi Know You’re Here is the definitive book about Jews in British football; and A Yorkshire Tragedy branches out to lament the fall from grace of God’s own county. He currently teaches as a professor in journalism.
