Ben Jackson is a researcher at the Institute of Development Studies, which is connected to the University of Sussex. He has used his Master's degree in African Politics to write his first book, a comprehensive history of AFCON, the Africa Cup of Nations. The 2024 tournament kicks off in Cote d'Ivoire on January 13.
