Manchester United fan and former PE teacher Brendon wrote Growing Up with the Trinity about the three United players who all became Footballer of the Year: George Best, Denis Law and Bobby Charlton. Among his sources was Tony Whelan, the great United scout, who helped put him in touch with some of the Trinity’s team-mates.
