The uncle of Tom Teodorczuk, Brian was born on the Isle of Wight and arrived on mainland Britain in the 1960s where he had a 50-year career as a Fleet Street sports reporter, mainly for the Mail.
His many books took in many sports, including cricket and football. He worked with the likes of Bill Nicholson, Trevor Brooking, Bobby Robson, Brian Lara and Terry Neill, and is currently campaigning for a bust of Learie, Baron Constantine to be erected in Westminster.
