Tottenham fan Chris has published two books on the club. The Team That Dared To Do is a chronicle of the 1994/95 season under Gerry Francis, while A Love for The Lane celebrates the greatest games in the famous old stadium.
Chris is an advocate for the women’s game and, to that end, brought out the first Women’s Football Yearbook in 2018, written with Tom Garry. It has been followed by further volumes. This year he collaborates with Patricia Gregory on A History of the Women’s FA Cup Final, published 50 years after the ban on women was lifted and at a time when the women’s game in England is about to progress to the next level.
