David is a Brighton & Hove Albion fan who lives and works in Huddersfield. He founded Ockley Books and publishes authors such as Andrew Lawn, Rich Foster and Steve Hill.
David’s first book 50 Teams That Mattered was followed by a trilogy of colouring books. He also edited a great criticism of the media by Roger Domeneghetti, From the Back Page to the Front Room.
In time for EURO 2020, David released Silver Linings. A history of the England national team in the 1980s, with due historical context, it reminds readers of Bobby Robson’s time in the ‘impossible job’, which ended with a Chris Waddle miss from 12 yards at Italia 90.
