Dr Mark Biram is a professor of Foreign Languages at Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey. His PhD thesis was on women's football in South America, including time spent in Brazil and Colombia; his second book, Viva Colombia: A Social History of Colombian Football, looks at 15 key matches and 15 key players in that country's history.
