‘His name is McNamara’ was a terrace chant which Jackie, son of another footballer called Jackie, has used for the title of his memoir. As well as his success at Celtic, Jackie played for Dunfermline, Aberdeen, Partick Thistle, Wolves and his dad’s club Hibernian. He went on to manage Dundee United and York City, before moving into consultancy.
