Johnny became a cult TV star in May 2013 when he was the Sky reporter at Vicarage Road who was befuddled by Watford’s late winner. He has been a Sky Sports producer and reporter, and wrote about his year on the job in his first book Saturday Afternoon Fever.
Although Johnny was born in Liverpool, he is most closely associated with Wolverhampton Wanderers. He writes about Wolves and West Bromwich Albion in a Saturday column for the regional paper Express & Star.
