Currently coaching young Liverpool players as a club employee, Jon’s book Addicted To Football takes us from his time as a teenager at Liverpool where he won the FA Youth Cup. He then went, as his book’s subtitle notes, ‘almost everywhere’.
Jon played for Crewe, Oldham, Bury, Morecambe and Colwyn Bay as one of many hundreds of journeymen footballers who had to adjust their expectations after a pro deal with one of the top clubs.
