‘Dame Julie’ was in love with Tottenham Hotspur as a teenager and grew up to report on football in the 1970s and 1980s. Her new book about that era is The Fleet Street Girls. She authored the biography of Spurs and co-wrote The Ghost of White Hart Lane with Rob White. Her passion for walking and hiking has been chronicled in literature too.
