The son of eminent journalist John, who wrote The Soccer Syndrome, Leo has built up a strong portfolio over the last 20 years.
As well as writing for FourFourTwo he has published several books on Liverpool and Chelsea, including titles on both sides’ Cult Heroes, and collaborated with Leroy Rosenior on his memoir It’s Only Banter.
A paperback version of his book Three Kings, on the trio of terrific Scottish managers Shankly, Busby and Stein, emerges in August 2020, followed by Leo’s collaboration with Andy Cole. Leo is currently working on The Anatomy of the Centre-Half, for which he has spoken to the likes of Vincent Kompany and Virgil van Dijk.
