Having already enjoyed a chat with Philippe Auclair, it’s the turn of another musician/writer of football books. Chelsea fan Neil grew up in an era when Chelsea were not yet owned even by Ken Bates.
Neil has published two books on the team: Rhapsody In Blue, about the glory days of the FA Cup winning side of 1970, and A Deeper Shade of Blue, which focusses on the hungry years of the club and the ‘false dawn’ of the mid-1970s.
