Oxford graduate Nick now freelances for various publications. His 14 years at The Times saw him covering the Superbowl as well as Premier League football, although his beloved Brighton & Hove Albion were nowhere near the top division back then.
His book Brighton Up recounts the story of the 2017 promotion under the guidance of Chris Hughton. It followed Pulp Football, a collection of ‘strange but true’ anecdotes from the world of football.
