Peter is a Renaissance man who has put his skills in goalkeeping, broadcasting and non-fiction to good use. He covered two World Cups for ITV in 1986 and 1990, has written a history of goalkeeping and has worked for many years at the Financial Times.
In 2016, he wrote a book about the year 1966, which marked ‘The End of Old-Fashioned Britain’.
