Aston Villa fan Richard wrote Ticket to the Moon, a chronicle of the Villa side which won the European Cup in 1982.
He talks about that in the second half of his Library visit, which touches on his roles both as a journalist covering football and cricket and as an agent. He has also written books with Mushtaq Mohammad and Sir Curtly Ambrose, and won awards for his biography of Steve McQueen.
