Born in Israel but a resident of London for 30 years, Hapoel Be’er Sheva fan Shaul has written two books in Hebrew about Liverpool FC and his beloved Hapoel.
His first book in English, On The Border, looks at Beitar Jerusalem, whom Shaul calls the ‘most political club in the world’, thanks to the involvement of major political parties in Israel and, in recent years, the ultras group La Familia.
