Delving in to 2nd Samuel, we see how regret takes its toll on king David following the circumstances of his act of sin and his response to it. God ultimately forgives David for what he did, but leaves us with a valuable lesson on how neglecting responsibility (past and present) will cause damage in our lives. "Faithfulness now brings freedom later".
