Being a human means we have sins and flaws, but Jesus came to die for our sins. In order for Jesus to be a high priest, He must also be a shepherd. A shepherd cares and guides us. Jesus, as our high priest, is compassionate, He has gone to heaven to bear us before God and is interceding for us. We, as Christians, have a heavenly carer, Jesus. But we will suffer the same fate of unbelievers if we fail to believe He cares for us.
