I started this remix years ago, don't really remember how I got around to doing this but it just came up after talking with a friend about Linkin Park and how the musical direction was changing. There were already hints of the change starting Meteora, and everybody knows the rest leading up to One More Light.
Originally this remix was supposed to "rearrange" the song Breaking The Habit into being closer to the style on Hybrid Theory. Never got finished since I wasn't satisfied with my work.
In light of the recent news however, on Chester's passing, I got the inspiration and drive to tackle this remix again from the ground up (I lost the original files) and tried now to fuse the heaviness of Hybrid Theory with my own style. Really love how it turned out, two days of creative energy being poured into this was worth it.
