On Sunday we continued our series entitled “Fear or Faith?” Lessons from the life of Joshua.
Samuel preached from Joshua 6 & 7 and highlighted for us that God is faithful to his promises. When things didn’t go to plan, with uncertainty and disappointment, Joshua turned to God for direction – he had faith in God’s plan. It’s ok to ask God questions in our uncertainty – Jesus used the same strategy but ultimately trusted his Father. We are to be obedient, knowing that God goes before us, to pray to know God’s will and direction, to trust and act in faith and make each decision in the light of the WORD. God can use us; all he needs from us is our availability.
