This month Tori interviews flamenco and classical guitarist, composer, session musician and record producer Pedro Javier González.
He has produced and collaborated with a who’s-who of Spanish and Catalan musicians as well as sharing the stage at festivals with numerous international guitar heroes, such as B.B. King, John McLaughlin, Pat Metheny, Paco de Lucia and Tommy Emmanuel.
From winning top honors at national competitions in the 1980s to touring as a part of several the top-selling acts in Spain in the 1990s, from producing other artists to writing for commercials and even appearing as a soloist with the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra in Moscow, Pedro Javier González is a multifaceted artist whose musical range only continues to grow with time.
