Detroit Grandma is the union of two young lovers of electronic music.
Their sound is characterized by stronger and obscure techno rhythms.
Alex and Bernat, born in Barcelona and Andorra respectively, become interested in electronic music at the age of 14 years when they started going to clubs.
Eight years later they met each other. During this time they started DJing separately at private parties.
Enthusiasts of any tool that can add new sounds to their sets and transform them into real live! sets, they focus on finding these for improving their sound.
Discovered by [kreuzberg.bcn] in one of those private parties at which they never go separately, they have been responsible to act on two inaugurations of the collective and after the success and the public response become part of this little family to take further.
They also are working at the moment with the Renegades collective in Barcelona, and playing at the legendary Razzmatazz and Club 4.
