Dreaming of winning and taking home the coveted € 100,000 premium, Italian Lorenzo Gianeri won the stage of Music Inside Rimini awarded by a jury composed of highly respected adjudicators in Ralf, Alex Blacks, Copper, Manuela Dorians and our Damir Ivic candidandolo.
Along with 26 other hopefuls, none could have predicted an education so profound with a handful of the world's very best in John Digweed, Carl Cox, Uner and Dubfire are taking mentoring roles. The dream ends September 30 and we can only wish Lorenzo the best of luck.

How did your style originate?
Turin has always given me a lot and allowed to grow and express myself artistically. I started playing at 16 and since then every week I never stayed at home for more 'than 3 days in a row.It is a city where you can always find something to do. I learned so much from all the resident with whom I shared the consoles in those years, Pisti, Samuel, Marcelo, Def, Gambo, Titta, Simone, Rude, Genta are just some of the people with whom I grew up, I played and therefore I They influenced artistically, but surely if there were no Ultrasound record store of the great Claudio might not be here today.
You're one of the Italian artists who managed to even get space at Kappa FuturFestival, Movement Torino and in the Plastikman tour of 2007, how was this?
Every time I have the good fortune of playing on these stages by sharing them with the world's greatest artists. I feel proud and lucky and the festival is closer to a concert than club night.
9,000 candidates from 26 countries. This must be a dream come true, tell us how crazy it's been?
It was a crazy experience and still is. It like going to school, but in a villa in Ibiza with those that you can't even imagine. With the other 26 DJs a wonderful relationship is there, despite being in competition, envy or fear have never taken over. Every day we had interesting lectures by the greatest DJs, producers and main representatives of the music world and from morning to night. We stopped to learn, play and produce, the perfect place and unforgettable experience.
What was it like to be in close contact with superstars such as Carl Cox, John Digweed, Dubfire, Luciano? What is the most important thing you learned?
They too still have the passion and the desire to play as if it were the first day, you immediately understand why they have become legends and why will be for a long time.Humility, passion and desire to always learn something new every day and especially not feeling "never arrived", because otherwise what would be the day they start to think about having to do anything else.
Now they are waiting 10 weeks of work between Sankeys, Café Mambo and Privilege before the last final step determining this year's winner and the award of € 100,000 prize. Have you prepared yourself mentally for what's ahead?
Never give up until the end! Every day I try always to do my best, I'm an overload of energy because I always wanted to be in a situation like this, I'm lucky to play in these prestigious clubs here in Ibiza. I love this island and I know pretty well and it's definitely more a weapon. The smile did not miss anything, step on my vinyl, on my desire to move forward and on a charge that I feel growing more every day!
After a year full of important events, daydreaming, what are your future plans?
Besides the hope of making lots of records and dates around the world as "Lollino" or as Lorenzo I have many other projects on my mind I hope to accomplish. The most important and imminent is Various Productions along with my creating partner and friend Stephen Genta. We have some projects and ideas in mind, with the launch of our new label "Morning Glory" soon becoming reality which he'll print on vinyl.
