There are many stories about wolves and hunters. From Little Red Riding Hood to the Chronicles of Narnia, one thing you can be sure of is that a wolf will never be too far from the action. Applying the mysticism of our canine friends to their musical output, Miami based duo Steve Sanx and Rico from Paris formed Wolf Story and upon listening to this mix, we understand why.
Guaranteed to get you howling at the moon – or at least wanting to – both producers earned their stripes as solo artists and label owners before deciding that they needed to join forces if they really wanted to have an impact.
So just who were they before they became Wolf Story? Well, Steve was the Peruvian mastermind behind Golden Tears and Beachside Records whilst uber Frenchman Rico ran the show at Oxygen and Bimini Records having started to DJ with Popof in the 90’s . So quite a pedigree then.
Aiming for world domination in 2016, we’re expecting to hear big things from the pairing this summer so remember, the next time there are a couple of wolves at the door, make sure you let them in…
