@djmurphyHeavily influenced by acid-house and hip-hop, Marcos, better known as DJ Murphy, started Dj'ing in 1992 in the suburbs of Sao Paulo. Although initially playing house, hardcore and jungle it was techno, that turned out to be his style of choice and that he has stayed true to ever since.
A few decades after he is without doubt one of the greatest and most skilled DJs on the Brazilian dance music scene and a regular at most big techno events and festivals in Brazil. DJ Murphy has also been chosen by DJ Sound magazine twice as the best DJ in Brazil. Hypnotising the crowd with his unique technique he is known worldwide for his exceptional style of Techno. Filled with scratches and mixes of three and sometimes even four tracks at the same time, he has and keeps on conquering the world with shows in more than 30 countries and counting.
