Making their debut on Labyrinth Clubs’ record label, Labyrinth Music are Senses of Mind.
The mysterious duo are regulars on Steyoyoke, Proton and Somatic bringing a fresh approach to progressive house. Known for their open-minded music policy, Labyrinth Music has chosen club residents, Joyhauser and Kevin de Vries to remix on this EP, which marks the re-launch of the label since 2017, after taking a 2-year hiatus. In original form, ‘Origins’ is a classic slice of contemporary prog with eastern promise. Sparse percussion and a firm 909 kick form the foundations as Senses of Mind hang all manner of sweeps, melodies and chants creating a maelstrom of energy, punctuated only by the ethereal breaks.
