- Outside of Drum and Bass I've been listening to a lot of hip-hop lately, as well as this the last few weeks have been a little stressful for me, combined with the doom and gloom that can come with the weather of late when Greg asked me to do a mix I knew straight away the journey I hoped to take our listeners on deep, dark and moody with hints of hip hop and lots of percussions.
The first of half this mix is a testament to those feelings we all get, before moving into some soulful and uplifting liquid territories - something a little different from me normally playing the darker, heavier and harder sounds of the Drum and Bass spectrum.
And who doesn't love a bit of liquid on a rainy day!
I hope I've captured that and you enjoy this mix as much as I found it therapeutic putting it together.
