- Big ups to Greg for asking me to do a retrospective mix, It's definitely something I've been wanting to get involved with since it's beginning.
When I was first asked to compile a mix of the tunes I've been listening to over the last month I thought it'd be an easy task, then the more I dug into it the more I realized I listen to too many different styles.
Originally I recorded a mix which had a bit of Liquid, Jump Up, Rollers & some Deeper/ Halftime vibes but the problem was it didn't flow too nicely.
In the end I loaded up all the tunes onto some CD's (Yes i'm still rocking 1000's) hit the record button and just let it progress naturally.
Picking a favorite tune from the mix is a tough one as they all have something different to bring, But I'd have to go with "Should Have Known by PHACTION". It's been on high rotation since I copped the release in May, It has a serious bassline and no matter what my mood it always puts a smile on my face and gets my head boppin.
