This weekend we have the guy, who is driven by the search for a sound that reflected his identity and personality. Omar Baccouri was influenced by house and techno from the late 90s and early 2000s, in addition to melodies that he knew through classical music and Trance. In Stockholm 🇸🇪 based Omar has always been an admirer of underground music. He believes in creating harmonic, soft and melodic soundscapes merging together to create twisted and electrifying sets. Featured on Podcasts and Radio shows across Europe, the states, and recently Asia, he’s always immersed in different musical genres. Omar’s sets are all about versatility, by virtue of music, he shares passion and pleasure trying to connect with people through his sets. He has a personal and unique style, where the music frequently has percussion elements and melodies. Sometimes a little bit deep and dramatic, sometimes more intense. Omar always looking forward to have the dancefloor moving. During his time in Uppsala, he’s been involved in the local underground scene by joining Placebo group and co-founding an underground collective labelled as TTDC.
