Dr. Camika Royal is an Associate Professor and Program Director of Urban Education Leadership at Morgan State University, and the author of “Not Paved For Us: Black Educators and Public School Reform in Philadelphia.”
He joined Dr. Peterson to discuss the 2024 AERA Outstanding Book Award winner - “Not Paved For Us,” the 2025 Centering Black Children in Education “Not Like Us” virtual conference, and her work at Morgan State University.
