John Butler is an author, and former sports journalist who turned his passion for writing into a series of children’s books. He is the author of the "Chase Books" series, which is filled with adventure and features African-American characters that all children can relate to.
He joined Dr. Peterson for the first Philly Reads segment of 2026 to discuss engaging dads in literacy.
