Vernon Jordan III (he/his/they/them) is a self-described “visual lyricist” whose films merge visual, musical, and poetic languages. Candice Iloh (they/them) is an author who captures the “nuance of young Black life” in coming-of-age novels and poetry. They 2 of 7 Black artists who will receive $75k rewards as Pew Fellows from the Pew Center Of Arts & Heritage. They join the show to talk about the inspirations for their works, and to talk about what this award means to them!
