Following on from last week’s sermon of A Community Marked By Humility, this week Ps. Andre called us to be A Community Marked By Hunger. In Matthew 5:6, Jesus said “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.” In our current culture where we’re always eating but never full, let us be counter-cultural – to fast ourselves physically so that we can be filled spiritually, in pursuit of the righteousness of God.
