We started a new series titled Life Together. Ps Andre set the stage for the rest of the series by diving into the idea of community and what it means for us as Christians. Contrasting the church of the past to the modern day church, we’ve progressed from the home to the theatre, from the dinner table to the stage, and from being a family-based community to a spectating audience. While there is a time and place for corporate gatherings, we need to realise that the stage does not take the place of the dinner table, and being a spectator cannot replace the value of a family-based community.
Through this series, it is our hope and prayer that we will become a family-based community, through valuing commitment, participation, and the collective good above ourselves.
