Speaking out of John 17, Jason brought a passionate exposition this morning titled “John 17: Jesus’s Desire”.
As we explore further into the language of oneness in Jesus’s prayer in John 17, we discover a 2-fold desire that Jesus desires - a resting place among a people and a bridal union with a people. We see Jesus’s desire revealed through his love for us on the cross, and His desire for us fulfilled in the second coming?
Do we have a revelation of God’s love towards us? How will we carry the desire of Jesus through the life we live?
May we accept the invitation to co-labour with God until Jesus desire is fulfilled, that Jesus may be loved by every people as the Father loves Him.
