Ps Daniel Chua brought a fiery word titled “A Duel with God.” Reading out of Genesis 32:22-31, Ps Daniel encouraged us from the life of Jacob, moving from Jabbok to Peniel. From being on the run, to wrestling the angel we see Jacob’s transformation when he came to the end of self-sufficiency. From being crippled to being crowned, from broken to being blessed, from disgraced to the hall of glory. What a life we have when we begin to put our hope and trust in God.
May we be like Jacob, come to the end of our self-sufficiency, and enter a life of hoping on God and standing on His word.
