In our very first service of the year, Ps Janice opened with a sermon titled “Turning”, sharing out of Nehemiah 9.
As we look through the text, we are reminded that despite of the repeated sin and disobedience of the God’s people, we see God’s long suffering mercy, His character, and covenant love for His people. Whenever the people turn back in confession, committing our hearts back to Him, God hears us.
We are reminded that as we start the year, there is an invitation to live a new surrender — a surrendered life, a devoted life. May you live a life of surrender to God.
